A Tribute to the Fallen and Their Families in Port Orange

The Iraq-Afghanistan Memorial is proud to announce an important initiative led by “A Grateful Nation Cares, Inc.” (AGNC), a dedicated Florida non-profit founded by three local volunteers: Eric Gill, Diana Johns, and Jake Johansson. This heartfelt endeavor aims to honor the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts, as well as to recognize and support the families who have endured such profound losses.
AGNC was established by three compassionate individuals from our community: Eric Gill, Diana Johns, and Jake Johansson. These founders, driven by a deep sense of gratitude and respect for our servicemen and women, have committed themselves to ensuring that the heroism and sacrifices of our fallen soldiers are never forgotten. Their initiative is rooted in the belief that honoring these heroes is not only a tribute to their bravery but also a vital support system for the families they left behind.
In addition to the memorial, AGNC is dedicated to providing ongoing support to the families of the fallen. Through various programs and initiatives, they aim to offer emotional, financial, and practical assistance to those who have been deeply affected by the loss of a loved one in service to our nation. AGNC recognizes that the sacrifices made by these families are immeasurable, and they are committed to standing by them in their time of need.
