About Us
Honoring
Our
Brave Soldiers
We are excited to announce that “A Grateful Nation Cares, Inc.” (AGNC), a Florida non- profit, which three local volunteers are in the process of forming is planning to erect an Iraq Afghanistan Memorial to the Fallen and the Families of the Fallen in beautiful Port
Orange, FL.
We anticipate the memorial will be located on Dunlawton Avenue, the city’s premier thoroughfare, east of I-95 on an already secured commercial property.
The project has been initiated by Eric Gill, Diana Johns, and Jake Johansson.
Honoring those lost in service to our country, their families and all whose lives they touched. Their Memorial Day is 24/7 for the rest of their lives.
Since Sept 11, 2001, the total lost to post-combat suicide is over 30,000 which is several multiples of those lost during time of war.
Accordingly, we want our memorial to be uplifting. The mission of Honoring the Fallen is likewise consistent with Healing the Living.

Values
“Charting the Resting Places of American War Heroes Abroad”
The sacrifices made by American soldiers extend far beyond the borders of our nation. “Charting the Resting Places of American War Heroes Abroad” is a solemn endeavor to honor those who gave their lives in foreign lands. These hallowed grounds, scattered across the globe, serve as enduring reminders of the bravery and commitment of our fallen heroes. By documenting and preserving these sites, we pay tribute to their ultimate sacrifice and ensure their legacies are remembered. This initiative fosters a deeper connection to our history and underscores the global impact of their service and dedication.
